Ronna has trained at USA Stars, Pablo Popovitch's BJJ Center, Carlo Rollysons BJJ, and Matt Hughes HIT Squad.

She now trains at the Olympic Training Center, and Colorado Springs Jiu Jitsu with Sensei Bill Hosken by Rigan Machado.

In 2009 the IOC made it many times more difficult for US Judo athletes to make it to the Olympics.  They have essentially required a lot of world wide travel to Judo events at the athletes personal expense. Being #1 in the US is not the critical factor any more. Major US tournaments can cost over $125 for the entry fee alone. Add in hotel and food and you see the problem. Now imagine having to pay twice all that and overseas flight costs.
